I remember when after the release of Zune 30 last year, people which had deleted their player's preloaded content were asking for ways to re-download it. Thats not going to happen with Zune 2, because Microsoft has it available to download. Its a 410MB zip file containing videos, music, podcasts and photos. You can take a look at it even if you don't have Zune (but you'll get one right?!) ...
Adding another Zune 30 to our catalog. This time it comes from Dell and it's on the sub-$100 region. A very good deal if you like Brown and don't mind using a normal 5-way control instead of the new Zunes' squircle...

We already knew there is a problem with Zune 80 as it is out of stock in most stores. The story is Microsoft doesn't have enough Zune 80 units yet as the product is 6 weeks behind schedule. More will be sent to retailers in the first half of December. If you really want one you may have to search across USA to get it :) ...
DLO extended today the HipCase line of leather cases and released one for the Zune 4 & 8 players. The case comes in Black and gives full visibility to the front of the player and access to its controls. It also has a leather beltclip. Its price is $29.99 ...
A few Zune owners have solved installation problems which had to do with replacing the old Zune Software. If you find your Software v2 installation fails, uninstall your old Software normally and try again. If the uninstall fails too, use this unZoone prog to do the job for you...
Although the new players have support for the mpeg-4 and h.264 formats, thats not the case with Zune 30. The new Firmware v2.2 adds only wma lossless audio native support. MP4, H.264 and DVR-MS videos have to be transcoded to WMV first (automatically). And most podcasts these days come in .mp4 or .mov...
You may have seen unboxing videos on a few Zune Community sites. These are review samples and although the only differences might be in minor details (like the box), here is a normal, retail, Zune 80 unboxing video...
