I had just purchased an external hard drive that I needed to give some much needed relief to my laptop. My #1 goal was to move all of my music and my Zune files to this hard drive. So stupidly I moved the folder, program files/zune to the E: drive. It copied the files like I wanted and then I manually deleted the folder from the C: drive. Went to search files and typed in Zune and deleted all files and .dll files that were related to Zune. I tried using the .exe file that was now on my E: Drive and I got some file error 300100210 or something like that rendering the zune program unable to play sound files. Then I tried to sync my Zune to the program and it could not recognize it. Thats when I realized I made some huge mistakes. So I went to uninstall/add programs and the Zune progam was listed there. I went to click on it and Windows said that the program did not exists and therefore I should remove it from the list of programs. So I said yes. I disconnected the external hard drive, I put the Zune program disk in the drive to reinstall the program and it says that all zune files are up to date and I cannot do anything. So now im stuck. I cannot reinstall and I have no idea what files are still on my computer because I manually deleted them all (except the zune system 32 file which will not let me delete it cause it is write protected, must be deleted using uninstall/add new programs). I cannot, at this moment, format my C: drive. I keep restarting my zune but i can never get to the point where it just let's me go to the main menu, the connect your zune to the computer screen shows up and i don't know what to do. I don't want to uninstall the zune software because my sister has her own account that is working fine.
