Firmware hacks don't exist till now for Zune. But we have some candidates for replacing Zune's firmware. Linux is of course one but RockBox is more interesting. Read this article about RockBox and Zune.
I need help, my Zune crashed while putting on the v2.2 firmware. It is at the Please Wait screen and will not move, what are my options? How can I clear the crashed Zune to put the firmware back on? Thanks

Yo, Help: HOld down the back button and the down button at the same time. It will turn ur zune off completely. Then press the on button. see if it works

While searching my computer for files with "zune" in the name I found a link to this page: http://resources.zune.net/firmware/zuneprod.xml It has adresses to the zune firmware cabs. When you download and extract the cabs you get some files with the extension bin . If anyone knows how to extract the files from the bin's please tell me.

Hey So I had to replace my Zune's Motherboard. I went and did that, and Now whenever it comes up on my computer, it's call "pyxis" and it won't run like a Zune. this is due to it not being the Zune Firmware already on it. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this. Thanks
