Remember the FairUse4WM which was released in July by a hacker named Divine Tao and it was removing the Windows DRM protection (Zune included)? Microsoft finally fixed it some days ago rendering the tool useless, for the moment...
The new WM-DRM version 11.0.6000.7000, is not like his old brother v. 11.0.6000.6324 but is immune to the current FairUse4WM version, as we read in doom9 forum . Not sure if this applies to the Zune Marketplace yet, but its a matter of time because a member of the forum says this was fixed on September 6th. Maybe the Zune Marketplace upgrade on September 9th had anything to do with this ? [via ZuneThoughts ] Related articles: |
