Someone who wanted to buy a white Zune found after opening its box that Zune gets embarrassed easy some times and turns to pink. So he decided to sell it on eBay and get the white he was always been dreaming of...
There are 100 pink Zunes given to Zune team members. But it seems some are out in the wild camouflaged as Browns, Blacks and Whites. Our friend managed to sell one of these for $761 on eBay: Hello! I am one of only 100 owners of this Pink Zune. I have number 2! Which might mean the only person to have the one before you is Bill himself. I recently bought it at my local Circuit City thinking I would be getting the white one as it shows on the cover. To my amazement I came home to a rare and limited edition Pink Zune. It even comes with a certificate of authentication from Microsoft. These were only supposed to be given out from what I read to the Zune team themselves.
