After the Zune 30 release last year I remember Steve Jobs mentioning Zune in his keynotes quite a few times. He liked the comparison of the 3% Zune's Marketshare to the 70% or so of the iPods. Now after the Zune 2 release it's FakeSteve's job to keep up with the coverage. He likes posting FakeZune Originals (Steve Ballmer editions preffered - pants off available too!). Today he has also an exclusive photo as an explanation to the high Zune latest sales...
FakeSteve reveals with the photo below the marketing strategy of the Zune team. It is shot on the mountains of Afghanistan sometime near the Zune 2 release on November 13th 2007: I tried to confirm it with Zune team PR, but they were not available for a comment . Anyway, buying a 30GB player for less than $100, maybe is something like the above. And now the Fake Zune Originals Gallery. It would be fun if Microsoft could print on the back of your Zune any custom-made photo: Photo Gallery
But we all know that Fake Steve does it because he likes Zune 2 Links: Zunes of the day Zune sales boom explained More Zunes More engraved Zunes But wait, there's more Related articles: Fake Steve Jobs wants a Zune 80
