iPod Touch ad uses music from a Zune ad! Print E-mail

Ballad of Lion and GazelleApple decided to choose a video from an individual on YouTube for the new iPod Touch TV ad. I believe what they did is excellent, but forgot to check the background of the track used, which had been used before in the "Ballad of Lion and Gazelle" Zune promotional video. It's from the Brazilian band CSS, promoted by Zune, "My Music is Where I'd like You to Touch"...

Here is the new iPod Touch Ad, on air since October 28th:

An the old promotional video of Zune, released before Zune 30 about a year ago:

I don't believe this Apple ad (created by an 18 years old English!) has anything to do with Zune's. After all nobody bites the hand of the guy in the ad Wink  In any case thumbs up to Apple for using ads created from people who like their products although this one was a gaffe. Another track by CSS, Alala, is included in the Zune 30 preloaded content.

Student’s Ad Gets a Remake, and Makes the Big Time (NYtimes about the Apple ad)
