Makayama released two new products today, one for Windows and one for MCE which make the Video conversions for Zune trivial. DVD and many other video formats can be converted...
Makayama is located in the Netherlands and produces media software products for PCs. Their products support many portable devices like PSP, iPod, Pocket PCs and mobile phones. Movie Studio for Zune can be installed on a Windows PC. Users select a DVD, or any video file from their PC and the the software turns it into a wmv movie file, which is compatible with Zune, with stereo sound. Subtitled and foreign language DVDs are also supported.
Just press "Action" and watch it happen. The software supports flv (used on youtube and google videos), avi, mpeg, divx, vob and asf formats and can run on Windows XP/NT/2000/Vista. You can try it for free (demo version is limited to 3 minutes long videos) or buy it for $29.95 (EUR 24.95).
If you have a Media Center PC, Mobile TV Center for Zune is for you. Pick Zune as your device and then it’s all automatic. Every new TV-recording will be converted in Zune compatible wmv format, which will play on Zune. TV-shows are transferred to the "My Video" folder, so that every time the device is connected, the content will be auto-synced. The software has the same look and feel as the Windows MCE and can be used with the remote control. You can try the demo version (limited to 10 minutes videos) or buy it for $34.95 (EUR 29.95). link: Makayama
