After the Xbox points Microsoft as we already knew, uses the same system in the Zune Marketplace. You buy points from the internet or your local store and then you use them on Zune Marketplace to buy songs or a subscription...
The points system Microsoft uses, is the same for Xbox and Zune. Points purchased for the one can be used in the other and vice versa. 80 points cost $1. Once buying Zune points from retail locations or the Zune Marketplace itself, you can purchase individual tracks for 79 points each (about $0.99). These tracks can be played on Zune but also can be burned to a music CD. The Zune Marketplace subscription (Zune Pass) costs $14.99 for a month. Using this you can download unlimited tracks (Zune MP has 2 million!) and keep using them as long as you have an active subscription. Get ready for Zune launch! |
