Zune-Arts.net collection has been extended with a new video by Vitamin Pictures. Its about a boy and a girl who meet each other, share and care, and float high at the sky in a full moon night. The soundtrack is by "What Made Milwaukee Famous". Watch it below...
About Vitamin: Vitamin is a Chicago-based animation / design / photography / editing / visual effects collective headed by directors Ryan Dunn and Vince Haycock. Vitamin's obsessions range from Joy Division to Jim Henson, Kubrick to Kraftwerk, and their work reflects those diverse interests. Dunn himself is currently "spending a lot of time writing fairy tales" - some of which he hopes to be sharing with the world very soon. Zune-Arts has also a mini interview:
Q: What was your inspiration for this piece? A: The idea of floating was immediate and whimsical. From there, the fun was mostly in taking the idea, curating it, finding nuance, opportunity, and pushing it as far as we could. One point of reference for us was the work of Sylvain Chomet, director of Triplets of Belleville. We weren't using cel animation for this, but the sensibility of it still drew us in and inspired us to imagine our own world in a slightly different way.[...] PROJECT CREDITS: Project: Zune Arts "Float" Client: Microsoft Zune, Redmond, WA Marketing Manager: Peter Kingsley Released: July 19, 2007
