Microsoft suggested to its customers in Australia to avoid purchasing Zune players from a local retailer. The reason is Zune isn't supported technically outside US and this includes also the lack of Zune Marketplace integration. But the retailer, Mwave, says they haven't received an official complaint from Microsoft...
Although Microsoft's Warranty supports Zune only in US, Mwave said their own warranty covers customers if they get a defective unit. They'll replace it in a "no questions asked" way. So until (and if) Microsoft takes any action against small retailers who sell Zune worldwide, companies like Mwave can be your only chance to get a Zune in your hands if you don't live in USA. You should be very careful with the unofficial warranty they offer you, if any. Read more: Sydney Morning Herald Related articles: Zune Outside US
