Proporta's case while open, offers full access to Zune's front panel's buttons and screen. The sync cable and earphones ports are also accessible and only the two plastic arms are holding the player. 

When closed the case protects Zune with a front cover which has an aluminum plate inside the leather with proporta's logo placed on it. The leather used is quite soft when touching it. The case uses a magnet-clip for keeping it closed. Its quite easy to be opened but it has nothing to do with the safety of it. Zune is only by the arms.

   

At the back of the case there is a small black screw. It can be replaced with another one for carrying purposes using a belt clip.

   

Proporta was also kind enough to send me a screen protector for Zune. In the photo I have covered the half of the screen with it. You can see the reflection decreasing. When the screen is "on" the protector film is almost invisible. 

A minor negative point to be fixed is the lack of access for the sync cable port and the hold switch when the case is closed.

The overall impression of the Proporta's case is good. It gives the feeling of a soft but strong protecting accessory for your precious Zune.
