Zune Flash Memory player (rumors say it will be released in some months) has a new competitor. A spy shot of the new 3G iPod Nano appeared on the site 9to5mac.com . So you may think this is just a rumor, but Apple's legal team contacted many big websites in an effort to remove the photo because as they say it is Apple's property. Enough confirmation? EDIT (September 5): This rumor was true, this is the new iPod Nano...
According to many sites Apple has kindly requested the removal of the photos from them, so I won't post it here but here is an artist re-created Nano photo from Engadget : The fact that Apple requested the removal of the original photo, could mean this is real ... or just a prototype that it will never be released. In any case the photo showed something like the above iPod, in five colors: Red, Blue, Black, Green, White (or maybe Silver). If this the new iPod Nano, it has a bigger screen for better video experience or it is just smaller than the 2G Nano. We will find out. And because news spread fast on the internet and its not easy to handle them, the original photo shows the 5 colored iPods in a circle, with their bottoms at the inner and their screens at the outer. It looks like a photo from a Mac screen showing a Photoshop file (psd). At the center their is the logo of the site "9to5mac.com " with black letters. Search for "iPod Nano spy shot" in search engines and good luck. EDIT (August 5): Apple announced the new fat iPod Nano
