Steve Ballmer, Microsoft's CEO, said today from Zurich talking about Zune, that Microsoft grows its music service and devices to hoping to take marketshare from Apple. He believes this is possible because Zune already got a 10% marketshare in the hard-disk players category of the industry, although Apple does a very good work with the iPod...
From CNN Money : "We're going to push our music service and move forward with the devices," Ballmer said at an event in Zurich. "We're going up against a company that does very good work - I gotta give Apple its due," he said. "But we went into that market and got a market share of some 10%." Asked where he sees Microsoft a number of years from now, he said he hoped the company would have gained ground in this field by then.
