Zune Mobile Sharing it's Spinners Print E-mail
Written by Kostas Tzounopoulos

The Zune Mobile - Seattle Red Bull Soapbox Race 2007 Saturday was the day of the 2007 Seattle Red Bull Soapbox Race. The Zune team was proudly represented for the first time by a group of five Great Engineers. The race started and the Zune Mobile was doing so great (I suppose) that the Zune team started "Sharing is Caring" their car's parts! ...

As you you can see a Zune Mobile Spinner decided to join the social (at the left):

Things were not easy, watch the faces of the three boys sitting in the front row from the photo above:

And here is the Zune Mobile in the pits (in one part) with the Zune team:

If you wonder how this disaster happened, I'll show you the Zune team's information Wink:

Garage Headquarters: Seattle, WA

Driver: Ginger Hudson

Mechanics: Michelle Bell, Javier Farfan, Omid Fatemi , David Paleschuck

Nuts and Bolts:

Representing for roadies everywhere is team ZUNE, a group of Seattle newbies who are ready to put music in motion on September 29th. Michelle Bell, Javeir Farfan, Omid Fatemi, Ginger Hudson and David Paleschuck all work for the digital media brand Zune, and their craft is inspired by the Zune Tour Bus that supports their company’s bands.

With just a little experience (one team member has a cousin who tried out for a derby in Ohio in 1964) and a lot of intelligence (everyone in the group has a graduate degree and speaks a foreign language), these rockin’ racers are ready to make their mark on Red Bull Soapbox Race Seattle. What do they foresee as their biggest challenge? Trying to get everybody to wake up early on a Saturday morning! Here’s hoping those Zune music players come with an alarm function…

An anonymous source said the Zune 2 Mobile will be smaller, lighter, with bigger screens and squircles instead of circular wheels !

I can tell from the rest of the photos I saw on flickr everybody got a great time up there in Seattle.
