Just to remind you Microsoft will be officially supporting Zune on Windows Vista in January when the OS will be released for consumers. But you can install it even know on the RTM edition. Check a screenshot of the Zune Software on Windows Vista x64 edition with glass effects...
Some days ago Michael informed us in a comment on another similar article (Zune on Windows XP Pro 64 bit ) that it is possible to install Zune Software and sync with Zune on Windows Vista x64 edition. Patrick Boyd (pboyd04 in our forum) just sent us a screenshot on this: 
(click on the image for large version) To install this on Win Vista x64 follow the instructions on the above article for Win XP x64. After this right click on the Zune desktop shortcut, select properties, navigate to the compatibility tab, and check the 'Run this program in compatibility mode' check-box. Run with compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 2).
