though the idea is the same, its in a .rar file. look it up on google for a decompression utility like winrar.

Dude, get 7-zip. It's free, it works, and it's basically the ultimate unzip/compression tool. That's just pathetic, no rar support on your computer. And besides, the Zune is pretty pathetic too, along with MS. Check out

Ok.....If you have the porblem that every time you try to install zune software a it every time done in no zune update found....here is the solution.



go to microsdoft update site

http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us
and download the thre basic udpates that will show in that site (no necesary Winows Genuine For Those updates)
after that restar you computer and sart again the zunes software installer...install it and enjoy it

i can't insall my zune software every time i try to do it it says that "An error occurred while installing the Zune software” i found the topic about that at www.zune.net but i don't have any of the problems listed over there...Is there a problem that i have Windows in russian? or maybe something else? please help...

every time i try to install the zune software from zune.net some error comes up half way through the installation saying that i'm missing some zune package, which i found and downloaded multiple times, along with re-installing the zune software, and i'm pissed

okay so i tried downloading the software a few different times and different ways. I'm not exactly the smartest computer junkie out there but i know a little bit to get me by. for some reason it downloaded sucessfully and now every time i click the application to open it, i get this message "Microsoft ZUne has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." what did i do wrong and how can i get this to work? man...microsoft should really make things less complicated.

I just got my 80GB zune a few days ago. it started working just fine then all the sudden it started saying item could not be played or item is missing so i went to zune.net and got the problem fixed, but it then it started acting up again, so i went back again and the website said to erase the content on the zune so i did that and for some reason it also deleted my account on the computer and now i have to restart my account so when i plugged in my zune i went through the usual, but when i tried to install firmware 2.5 it wouldn't let me and said that i had to delete the content on my zune first. I keep restarting my zune but i can never get to the point where it just let's me go to the main menu, the connect your zune to the computer screen shows up and i don't know what to do. I don't want to uninstall the zune software because my sister has her own account that is working fine. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
