 According to ZuneInsider today is the day of the Zune v2.3 Firmware update, coming to fix some minor bugs on Zune 30 and 80 players like the battery bug and sync-stability issues. If you don't have any problems with these, you can safely keep up what you are currently doing: no new features here for you...
From ZuneInsider : Specifically the battery issue affecting a small percentage of Zune 30/80 GB users - I posted about this last week in case you missed it. In addition to the battery issue, this update provides some performance improvements: - Improved device recognition
- Improved stability and reliability on sync (both wirelessly and while connected to a PC).
